ILLINOIS CENTRAL RAILROAD COMPANY
DISPUTE: CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:
1. That under the current agreement the Carrier improperly assigned installation, maintenance and repair of various heat treating
furnaces and other special heating equipment at Burnside Shops on
January 13, 1956 to an outside contractor.
2. That accordingly the Carrier be ordered to additionally compensate Electrician Francis Perry a total of 5-2/3 hours penalty time
covering January 13, 1956.
STATEMENT: The above question was submitted to the Second Division
of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to organization in ex parte form, and the Division is now in receipt of a request from the
employes that the case be withdrawn.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
