GREAT NORTHERN RAILWAY COMPANY
DISPUTE: CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:
1. That under the current agreement the Carrier denied various
laborers working part of their daily assignment as outside hostler
helpers, the daily rate of pay for outside hostler helpers.
2. That accordingly the carrier be ordered to additionally compensate such laborers at the difference in rate of pay between unclassified laborers and outside hostler helpers at either five hours
daily, or three hours daily, in accordance with shift worked, from
August 10, 1956 to some time in December, 1956.
STATEMENT: The above question was submitted to the Second Division of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to
organization in ex parte form, and the Division is now in receipt of a request
from the employes that the case be withdrawn.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
