DISPUTE:
CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:
1. That the assignment of other than Carmen welders to weld
passenger brake beams at Silvis, Illinois was not authorized under
the current agreement.
2. That accordingly the Carrier be ordered to additionally compensate Carman welder G. V. Gleason for eight (8') hours each day
effective November 1, 1956 and for all time subsequent thereto during
this assignment.
STATEMENT:
The above question was submitted to the Second Division of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to
organization in ex parte form, and the Division is now in receipt of a request
from the employes that the case be withdrawn.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
