DISPUTE: CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:
1. That abolishing Carman Car Inspector George Doyle's position at Billerica Shops, North Billerica, Massachusetts, on May 27,
1955, and transferring the work formerly done by Carman Doyle to
employees of another seniority point, is in violation of the current
agreement.
2. That, accordingly, the Carman's position at Billerica Shops
be reestablished as coming within the seniority district of the Charlestown Car Department, and Carmen in that District be used to perform the service they formerly performed and are rightly entitled to.
STATEMENT:
The above question was submitted to the Second Division
of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to organization in ex parte form, hearing was held thereon, and the Division is now in
receipt of a request from the employes that the case be withdrawn.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
