PARTIES TO DISPUTE

DISPUTE: CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:
1. That the Carrier violated the terms of the current agreement
when they declined to compensate Stationary Engineer John Lyons
on August 20, 1956 for 8 hours at the time and one-half rate while on
his earned vacation.
2. That accordingly, the Carrier be ordered to compensate the
aforesaid employe for 8 hours at the applicable time and one-half
rate.
STATEMENT:
The above question was submitted to the Second Division
of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to organization in ex parte form, and the Division is now in receipt of a request from the
employes that the case be withdrawn.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
