PARTIES TO DISPUTE:
SYSTEM FEDERATION NO. 150, RAILWAY EMPLOYES'
DEPARTMENT, AFL-CIO (Sheet Metal Workers)
THE CINCINNATI UNION TERMINAL COMPANY
DISPUTE: CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:
1. That under the current agreement the carrier improperly
assigned other than Sheet Metal Workers to perform the work of
cleaning and resweating copper "TEE" fitting on copper pipe between
condensers on NYC Diner 664 July 12, 1956.
2. That accordingly the carrier be ordered to compensate Sheet
Metal Workers E. Feldkamp and C. Sloan, each in the amount of a
four hour call for July 12, 1956.
FINDINGS: The Second Division of the Adjustment Board, upon the
whole record and all the evidence, finds that:
The carrier or carriers and the employe or employes involved in this dispute are respectively carrier and employe within the meaning of the Railway
Labor Act as approved June 21, 1934.
This Division of the Adjustment Board has jurisdiction over the dispute
involved herein.
The parties to said dispute were given due notice of hearing thereon.
This dispute is identical to that decided in our Award No. 2864 (Docket
No. 2778) .
