GREAT NORTHERN RAILWAY COMPANY
DISPUTE: CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:
1. That under the current agreement, the Carrier wrongfully
assigned the duties and responsibilities of Stationary Engineers Jack
Giffen and Louis Pettis, Klamath Falls, Oregon, to supervisory personnel and mechanics.
2. That accordingly the Carrier be ordered to restore Stationary
Engineers Jack Giffen and Louis Pettis to service as such, and
compensate them for all time lost since January 30, 1957, each in the
amount of eight hours pay daily at the straight time rate and four
hours daily at the time and one-half rate, seven days per week.
STATEMENT: The above question was submitted to the Second Division
of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to organization in ex parte form, and the Division is now in receipt of a request from the
employes that the case be withdrawn.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
