SOUTHERN PACIFIC LINES IN TEXAS AND LOUISIANA
(TEXAS AND NEW ORLEANS RAILROAD COMPANY)
DISPUTE:
CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:
1. That under the current Agreement, the Carrier improperly
assigned other than Carmen on July 17, 1956 to .inspect journal and
journal bearing and replace journal bearing on SDRX 6862 at
Avondale, Louisiana.
2. That accordingly the Carrier be ordered to additionally compensate Carman D. LeBlanc for four (4) hours at the applicable
straight time rate of pay for the aforesaid violation.
STATEMENT: The above question was submitted to the Second Division
of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to organization in ex parte form, hearing thereon was held, and the Division is now in
receipt of a request from the employes that the case be withdrawn.
