(TEXAS AND NEW ORLEANS RAILROAD COMPANY)
DISPUTE:
CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:
1. That under the current Agreement the Carrier improperly
assigned other than Carmen to make air brake inspection and test on
Train No. 53 July 11, 1956 and Train No. 241 on July 12, 1956 at
Avondale, Louisiana.
2. That accordingly the Carrier be ordered to additionally compensate Carman D. R. Dugas for four (4) hours July 11, 1956 and
Carman J. Faucheaux for four (4) hours for July 12, 1956 at the
applicable straight time rate of pay for the aforesaid violation.
STATEMENT: The above question was submitted to the Second Division
of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to organization in ex parte form, hearing thereon was held, and the Division is now in
receipt of a request from the employes that the case be withdrawn.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
