DISPUTE: CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:
1. That under the current agreement the Carrier improperly used
Machinists to connect the steam heat pipes on seven passenger cars
and connect the coupling on the end car to the steam line for the purpose of heating the cars to prevent their freezing, on November 26,
1956, at Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
2. That accordingly the Carrier be ordered to compensate Sheet
Metal Worker George Buchholz a penalty call (three hours and twenty
minutes at the time and one-half rate) for the aforesaid violation.
STATEMENT:
The above question was submitted to the Second Division
of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to organization in ex parte form, and the Division is now in receipt of a request from the
employes that the case be withdrawn.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
