DEPARTMENT, AFL-CIO (Sheet Metal Workers)
NEW YORK, CHICAGO & ST. LOUIS RAILROAD CO.
DISPUTE: CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:
1. That under the current agreement, the Carrier improperly
assigned other than Sheet Metal Workers to operate the Pipe Threading Machine in the Diesel Shop at Brewster, Ohio on November 5, 6
and 12, 1956.
2. That accordingly the Carrier be ordered to compensate Sheet
Metal Worker John Schroeder 8 hours for each of the aforesaid dates
at the applicable time and one-half rate of pay for the aforesaid
violation.
STATEMENT: The above question was submitted to the Second Division
of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to organization in ex parte form, and the Division is now in receipt of a request from the
employes that the case be withdrawn.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
