PARTIES TO DISPUTE:

DISPUTE: CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:
1. That Carman Joseph N. Dolo be paid one hour at the time
and one-half rate of pay for July 1, 1957, and four hours at the
straight time rate of pay for July 2, 1957, due to being required to
attend a meeting and investigation held outside his regular working
hours.
2. That the Carrier discontinue the practice of holding these
hearings and investigations outside of the regular working hours of
the local committee due to this being in violation of the 2nd paragraph of Rule 34 of the controlling agreement.
STATEMENT: The above question was submitted to the Second Division
of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to organization in ex parte form, and the Division is now in receipt of a request from the
employes that the case be withdrawn.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
