DISPUTE: CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:
1. That the controlling agreement and the seniority and service
rights of Laborer Fred Coker were violated when his position of truck
driver was abolished on March 20, 1957, and said position assigned to
Carman Helper same date.
2. That accordingly the Carrier be ordered to reassign Fred
Coker to the position of truck driver and to compensate him in the
amount of one days pay at the applicable laborers' rate of pay for
each day the carman helper has been so assigned since March 20, 1957.
STATEMENT:
The above question was submitted to the Second Division
of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to organization in ex parte form, and the Division is now in receipt of a request from the
employes that the case be withdrawn.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
