ELGIN, JOLIET & EASTERN RAILWAY COMPANY
DISPUTE: CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:
1. That under the current agreement the Carrier improperly assigned the work of applying angle iron, closing hatches and removing
safety railings to the Machinist Craft.
2. That under the current agreement the Carrier improperly assigned employes of the Sheet Metal Workers Craft to fill Diesel water
tanks on Locomotive No. 110.
3. That accordingly the Carrier be ordered to additionally compensate Boilermaker J. Valek and Boilermaker Helper E. Larsen for
4 hours each at straight time rate of pay for the aforesaid violations.
STATEMENT:
The above question was submitted to the Second Division
of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to organization in ex parte form, and the Division is now in receipt of a request from the
employes that the case be withdrawn.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
