DEPARTMENT, AFL-CIO (Boilermakers)


    ELGIN, JOLIET & EASTERN RAILWAY COMPANY


    DISPUTE: CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:


1. That under the current agreement the Carrier improperly assigned work o fremoving motor base, or four pieces of channel iron _;8" x 8" x 12".


2. That accordingly the Carrier be ordered to additionally compensate Boilermaker J. Whalen, Acct. No. 314, and Boilermaker Helper J. Bates, Acct. No. 224, for four hours each at straight time rate for the aforesaid violation.


STATEMENT: The above question was submitted to the Second Division of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to organization in ex parte form, and the Division is now in receipt of a request from the employes that the case be withdrawn.

                  AWARD


    Claim dismissed.
