SOUTHERN PACIFIC LINES IN TEXAS AND LOUISIANA
(TEXAS AND NEW ORLEANS RAILROAD COMPANY)
DISPUTE: CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:
1. That under the controlling agreement the Carrier improperly
denied Boilermaker Jose Lopez sufficient help to repair the right
front step assembly on Diesel Locomotive No. 166 on January 27,
1957.
2. That accordingly the Carrier be ordered to compensate Boilermaker Helper C. R. Mills for eight (8) hours at the applicable time
and one-half rate for the aforesaid violation.
STATEMENT: The above question was submitted to the Second Division
of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to organization in ex parte form, and the Division is now in receipt of a request from the
employes that the case be withdrawn.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
