PITTSBURGH & LAKE ERIE RAILROAD COMPANY &
THE LAKE ERIE & EASTERN RAILROAD COMPANY
DISPUTE: CLAIM OF EMPLOYES: On Sunday, August 24, 1957, four wreck-crew members were used to unload, reinforce the floor and reload a ring casting at McKees Rocks Shop.
At the present time there is no overtime agreement at this point and the Organization takes the stand that this work belongs to the oldest carmen at this point.
For this reason the Organization requests the Carrier to compensate J. Jumba, J. Fyozak, J. Purtiak and T. Spisak, nine and one-half (91/2) hours at the punitive rate of pay on account of junior man doing this work.
STATEMENT: The above question was submitted to the Second Division of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to organization in ex parte form, and the Division is now in receipt of a request from the employes that the case be withdrawn.
