PARTIES TO DISPUTE
SYSTEM FEDERATION NO. 97, RAILWAY EMPLOYES'
DEPARTMENT, AFL-CIO (Electrical Workers)
ATCHISON, TOPEKA AND SANTA FE RAILWAY SYSTEM
DISPUTE: CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:
1. That under the current agreement, the Carrier improperly
assigned other than electricians to make electrical tests and load tests
on Diesel locomotives at Silsbee, Texas on May 2, 3, 9, 10, 16, 17 ,
23, 24 and 31, 1957.
2. That accordingly the Carrier be ordered to compensate
Electrician Asa C. Grant eight (8) hours at the applicable time and
one-half rate for each of the aforesaid dates.
STATEMENT:
The above question was submitted to the Second Division
of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to organization in ex parte form, and the Division is now in receipt of a request from
the employes that the case be withdrawn.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
