ATCHISON, TOPEKA AND SANTA FE RAILWAY SYSTEM
DISPUTE: CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:
1. That under the current agreement, the Carrier improperly
assigned other than electricians to perform work recognized in the
agreement as electricians' work at Silsbee, Texas on June 2, 7, 13.
14, 16, 20, 21, 25, 27 and 28, 1957.
2. That accordingly the Carrier be ordered to compensate Electrician Asa C. Grant as follows for the aforesaid violation:
(a) Eight (8) hours at the applicable time and one-half
rate for each of the dates June 2, 7, 13, 14, 20, 21, 27 and 28,
1957.
(b) Four (4) hours at the applicable straight time rate
for -June 16, 1957.
(c) One and two tenths (1 2/10) hours at the applicable time and one-half rate for June 25, 1957.
STATEMENT:
The above question was submitted to the Second Division
of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to organization in ex parte form, and the Division is now in receipt of a request from
the employes that the case be withdrawn.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
