ILLINOIS CENTRAL RAILROAD COMPANY
DISPUTE: CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:
1. That the carrier violated the controlling agreement when they
contracted work out in connection with the repairing, rebuilding and
conversion to roller bearing of three traction motor armatures, to an
outside concern, that was specifically work of Shop Craft Electricians.
2. That accordingly the carrier be ordered to make Electricians
G. M. Rodgers, V. A. Besse, H. C. Surtiss and J. L. Cepielik whole by
compensating them for 90 hours each at the applicable time and onehalf rate of pay for armature winders for the aforesaid violation.
STATEMENT:
The above question was submitted to the Second Division
of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to organization in ex parte form, and the Division is now in receipt of a request from
the employes that the case be withdrawn.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
