TEXAS AND NEW ORLEANS RAILROAD COMPANY
DISPUTE:
CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:
1. That the Texas and New Orleans Railroad Company violated
the terms of the current agreement when they assigned other than
Electric Crane Operators to operate an electric traveling crane of less
forty (40) tons capacity in the Diesel Shop at Houston, Texas.
2. That accordingly, the Texas and New Orleans Railroad Company be ordered to compensate regularly assigned Electric Crane Operators as follows:
September 24, 1957-N. A. Norris-4 hours at time and one-half
September 29, 1957-A. D. Thruton-4 hours at time and one-half
October 3, 1957-P. M. Frausto-4 hours at time and one-half
October 3, 1957-N. A. Norris-4 hours at time and one-half
October 3, 1957-A. D. Thruton-4 hours at time and one-half
October 10, 1957-N. A. Norris-F hours at time and one-half
November 6, 1957-G. G. Stkoes-4 hours at time and one-half
and for all subsequent dates on which the Carrier assigned other than
Electric Crane Operators to operate traveling cranes of less than
forty (40) tons capacity in the Houston, Texas, Diesel Shop.
STATEMENT:
The above question was submitted to the Second Divisior.
of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to organization in ex parte form, and the Division is now in receipt of a request from
the employes that the case be withdrawn.
