PARTIES TO DISPUTE:

    SYSTEM FEDERATION NO. 2, RAILWAY EMPLOYES'

    DEPARTMENT, AFL-CIO (Machinists)


      MISSOURI PACIFIC RAILROAD COMPANY


    DISPUTE: CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:


    1. That the current agreement was violated when Machinist C. H. Lang of Harlingen, Texas was furloughed and his duties as a machinist assigned 1:o others to perform, effective August 21, 1957.


    2. That Machinist C. H. Lang be compensated for all time lost from August 21, 1957 until his return back to service and also that he be paid punitive rate of pay for all overtime hours involved on work required on engine failures, etc. that involves machinist work since the above date, due to him being furloughed and duties of machinists being assigned to electrician, carmen, laborers and foreman.


STATEMENT: The above question was submitted to the Second Division of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to organization in ex parte form and the Division is now in receipt of a request from the employes that the case be withdrawn.

                  AWARD


    Claim dismissed.
