PARTIES TO DISPUTE:
JOHN R. ARNOLD, ET. AL., (Carmen Helpers)
LOUISVILLE AND NASHVILLE RAILROAD COMPANY
DISPUTE:
CLAIM OF PETITIONERS:
1. That under the terms of the current applicable agreement,
carrier had no right to lay off all carmen helpers employed at the
carrier's West Nashville Shops, Nashville, Tenn. on April 7, 1958, and
to replace them with carmen.
2. That said carmen helpers be restored to service and compensated for all time lost subsequent to the tour of ther duty on
April 7, 1958.
3. That all carmen helpers' positions be restored in conformity
with the agreement.
STATEMENT:
The above question was submitted to the Second Division
of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above named petitioners,
through their attorney, in ex parte form, and the Division is now in receipt of
a request from the petitioners that the case be withdrawn.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
