PARTIES TO DISPUTE:
SYSTEM FEDERATION NO. 99, RAILWAY EMPLOYES'
DEPARTMENT, AFL-CIO (Electrical Workers)
ILLINOIS CENTRAL RAILROAD COMPANY
DISPUTE: CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:
(a) That under the provisions of the current agreement the
Carrier improperly assigned Linemen's work to other than Linemen
at Mt. Airy, Louisiana, November 12 and 13, 1957, and on December
12, 1957, thereby damaging employes of the Electrical Workers' Craft
in the amount of 104 man hours.
(b) That accordingly Lineman W. D. Bell be compensated at the
applicable time and one-half rate of pay for 104 hours.
STATEMENT:
The above question was submitted to the Second Division
of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to organization in ex parte form and the Division is now in receipt of a request from the
employes that the case be withdrawn.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
