PARTIES TO DISPUTE:
SYSTEM FEDERATION NO. 41, RAILWAY EMPLOYES'
DEPARTMENT, AFL-CIO (Carmen)
CHESAPEAKE AND OHIO RAILWAY COMPANY
DISPUTE:
CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:
1. That under the current agreement other than Carmen were
improperly used to couple air hose, make car to car terminal air
brake inspecting test and shopped cars for defects August 21 and 24,
1957 at Danville, W. Va.
2. That accordingly the Carrier be ordered to compensate Carmen C. R. Hopkins, Clarence Griffith, Arthur Chaffins, James L. Johnson, Carl R. Hudson and Everett Ballard, eight (8) hours each day
August 21 and 24, 1957 at 1i/2 applicable rate of pay for the aforesaid
violation.
STATEMENT:
The above question was submitted to the Second Division
of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to organization in ex parte form and the Division is now in receipt of a request from
the employes that the case be withdrawn.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
