LOUISVILLE AND NASHVILLE RAILROAD COMPANY
DISPUTE: CLAIM OF E31PLOVES:
1-That the Carrier violated the agreement when on May 4, 1957,
and prior to that time, changed Monday through Friday carmen
assignments including Saturday and/or Sunday as work days at
Nashville (Radnor), Tennessee, and
2-Accordingly the Carrier be ordered to rearrange the work
week schedule to conform to the principles of the agreement, and
3-Return no less than those carmen changed on May 11, 1957
to a Monday through Friday work week assignment and
4-Additionally compensate the carmen changed on May 11,
1957 at time and one-half rate for each Saturday and Sunday required
to work and at straight time rate for each Thursday and Friday
restrained from working since May 11, 1957.
STATEMENT: The above question was submitted to the Second Division
of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to organization in ex parte form and the Division is now in receipt of a request from
the employ es that the case be withdrawn.
