        THE SOUTHERN RAILWAY COMPANY


    DISPUTE: CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:


    1. That under the current Agreement, the Carrier on September 28, 1957, improperly utilized Train Master W. R. Griffith to replace a coupler knuckle in a freight car at Chattanooga, Tennessee.


    2. That accordingly the Carrier be ordered to additionally compensate Carman H. E. Prestidge, Chattanooga, Tennessee, for five 15) hours at pro rata rate for violation of Agreement on September 28, 1957.


STATEMENT: The above question was submitted to the Second Division of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to organization in ex parte form and the Division is now in receipt of a request from the employes that the case be withdrawn.

                  AWARD


    Claim dismissed.
