DISPUTE:
CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:
1. That under the provisions of the current agreement the
Management of the Alabama, Tennessee and Northern Railroad
illegally abolished two (2) Machinists' positions at York, Alabama,
and changed classification of Mr. A. P. Walker, from Assistant
Master Mechanic to that of Mechanical Foreman, and instructed
him to inspect the engines, lift work reports, make minor repairs
necessary on the run thru engines, and make air tests to comply with Federal Law.
2. That, accordingly, Machinist H. R. Mixon be compensated eight (8) hours' pay for February 1, 1958 and eight (8)
hours' pay each day thereafter that Foremen are used to perform Machinists' work at York, Alabama.
STATEMENT:
The above question was submitted to the Second
Division of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred
to organization in ex parte form and the Division is now in receipt of a
request from the employes that the case be withdrawn.

Claim dismissed.
