MISSOURI PACIFIC RAILROAD COMPANY
DISPUTE: CLAIN OF EMPLOYES:
1) That it was improper, under the current agreement, for
the carrier on August 19, 1957, to abolish the positions of stationary firemen at Sedalia, Missouri power plant and to assign motor
generator attendants to perform work which prior to the force
reduction on August 19, 1957 was performed by claimants R. Prine,
R. Potter and O. H. Carver.
2) That accordingly the carrier be ordered to:
(a) Restore the claimants, R. Prine, R. Potter
and O. H. Carver to their former positions and respective
shifts, and pay claimants the difference in the rate
of pay of a stationary fireman and power plant laborer,
beginning with August 19, 1957 and each day so long as
violation exists, or until such time as they are restored to
their former positions as stationary firemen.
STATEMENT: The above question was submitted to the Second
Division of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred
to organization in ex parte form and the Division is now in receipt of a request from the employes that the case be withdrawn.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
