LONG ISLAND RAILROAD COMPANY
DISPUTE:
CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:
1. That four (4) Sheet Metal Workers are entitled to
and should be paid eight (8) hours pay each day at their applicable rate of pay from December 16, 1957, for each day's work
that was performed by the same number of steam fitters from another
source doing their work and depriving them of their work under
the terms of the current agreement.
2. That accordingly the Carrier be ordered to compensate
Sheet Metal Workers Louis Aceri, Bernard Schwab, Ceosar Guerra
and Michael DeBrino in the amount of three hundred and twenty-six
(326) to be divided equally among them.
STATEMENT: The above question was submitted to the Second Division of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to
organization in ex parte form and the Division is now in receipt of a request
from the employes that the case be withdrawn.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
