SYSTEM FEDERATION NO. 26, RAILWAY EMPLOYES' DEPARTMENT, A. F. of L.--C. 1. O. (Electrical Workers)


      CENTRAL OF GEORGIA RAILWAY COMPANY


    DISPUTE: CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:


    1. That the repairing and overhauling of Diesel traction motors comes within the scope of Electricians work.


    2. That the Central of Georgia Railway Company violated the controlling agreement when on September 10, 1957, it contracted with the National Coil Company, of Columbus, Ohio, to repair or rebuild Fairbanks-Morse armature, serial No. 213R7G733, and type 370E traction motor frame.


      3. That accordingly the Carrier be ordered to:


      a) Desist from unilaterally transferring traction motor work out of Macon shop to outside concerns, and


      b) Additionally compensate Electricians 0. E. Hamlin, J. D. Brantley, Jr., J. F. Keys, Jr., L. A. Futch and Electricians Apprentice W. B. Hunnicutt for an equal number of hours, at their respective pro rata rate, divided among them, that was required by the National Coil Co., to repair and rebuild the above named armature and motor frame.


STATEMENT: The above question was submitted to the Second Division of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by above referred to organization in ex parte form, hearing thereon was waived, and the Division is now in receipt of a request from the employes that the case be withdrawn.
