GREAT NORTHERN RAILWAY COMPANY
DISPUTE:
CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:
1. That the current agreement was violated when the Carrier
failed to reply to letter of May 5, 1957, instituting claim, within the
sixty (60) day time limit.
2. The current agreement was violated when the Carrier failed
to bulletin the position of Power Plant Helper at the Great Falls
Roundhouse, thus, depriving Laborer Donald Lesmeister the right to
exercise his seniority rights to fill the aforesaid position.
3. That accordingly the Carrier be ordered to compensate the
aforementioned employe the difference in rate of pay as between the
Roundhouse Laborer and Power Plant Helper until such time as this
position is properly bulletined, retroactive to March 18, 1957.
STATEMENT: The above question was submitted to the Second Division
of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to organization in ex parte form and the Division is now in receipt of a request from
the employ es that the case be withdrawn.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
