NATIONAL RAILROAD ADJUSTMENT BOARD
The Second Division consisted of the regular members and in
addition Referee Lloyd H. Bailer when award was rendered.
PARTIES TO. DISPUTE:
TRANSPORT WORKERS UNION OF AMERICA
RAILROAD DIVISION
PITTSBURGH AND LAKE ERIE RAILROAD COMPANY
LAKE ERIE AND EASTERN RAILROAD COMPANY
DISPUTE: CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:
On Sept. 16 and 20, 1957, due to inclement weather R. Pastino
could not work and had to go home. Had he been allowed to bump
as referred to in Case M-154, he could have worked both of these
days.
For this reason the Organization requests that the Carrier
compensate R. Pastino eight (8) hours for each of the above mentioned days due to the fact that he had not been allowed to
bump when his job had been abolished as referred to in Case
M-154.
STATEMENT:
The above question was submitted to the Second Division of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to
organization in ex parte form, hearing was held thereon, and the Division
is now in receipt of a request from the employes that the case be withdrawn.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
