DISPUTE: CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:
1. That the assignment of other than Sheet Metal Workers
to fabricate and assemble a metal building of 16 gauge iron in
the Carrier's Topeka, Kansas shops during the period starting the
first week in April 1958 and continuing through the first week in
May 1958, was a violation of the Current Agreement.
2. That accordingly the Carrier be ordered to additionally
compensate Sheet Metal Worker Haberkorn at the applicable
straight time rate for ten (10) days for the aforesaid violation.
STATEMENT: The above question was submitted to the Second Division of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to
organization in ex parte form and the Division is now in receipt of a request
from the employes that the case be withdrawn.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
