MISSOURI PACIFIC RAILROAD COMPANY
DISPUTE: CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:
1. That the Carrier violated the controlling agreement when
the maintenance (removing, replacing and cleaning) of fuel filters
in Bunker "C" fuel oil line to burner of boiler in the new power
house was assigned to other than Machinists on February 14, 15,
16, 17, 18, 19 and 20, 1958, and all dates thereafter.
2. That accordingly, the Carrier be ordered to additionally
compensate Machinists C. C. Porter and M. C. Kelly, two and onehalf (2 % ) hours at punitive rate for work which these machinists
should have been called upon to perform on the aforesaid dates
(February 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19 and 20) and all subsequent dates
until the violation is corrected.
STATEMENT: The above question was submitted to the Second Division of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to
organization in ex parte form and the Division is now in receipt of a request from the employes that the case be withdrawn.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
