DISPUTE: CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:
1. That the current agreement was violated in March, 1958,
when the Carrier contracted the building of two (2) Diesel fuel
oil storage tanks to an outside firm at Reading, Pa., in violation of
rules 32, 33, and 66.
2. That accordingly the Carrier be ordered to compensate
Boilermakers J. F. Faller, A. A. Zieber, H. W. Sanders, E. J.
Reppert, Sr., E. Hare, C. H. Morrow and E. J. Sauer for said
work in the amount of sixty-four (64) hours each at straight time
rate.
STATEMENT: The above question was submitted to the Second Division of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to
organization in ex parte form and the Division is now in receipt of a request
from the employes that the case be withdrawn.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
