DISPUTE:
CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:
1. That under the current agreement the Carrier improperly
furloughed Sheet Metal Worker E. D. Johnson on January 24,
1958 at Helper, Utah and subsequently assigned other than Sheet
Metal Workers to the performance of Sheet Metal Workers' work.
2. That accordingly the Carrier be ordered to compensate
Sheet Metal Worker E. D. Johnson at the applicable straight
time rate for all time lost from January 24, 1958 account the
aforesaid violation.
STATEMENT: The above question was submitted to the Second Division of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to
organization in ex parte form, hearing thereon was waived, and the Division
is now in receipt of a request from the employes that the case be withdrawn.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
