DISPUTE:
CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:
1. That under the current agreement other than Firemen
and Oiler craftsmen are improperly assigned to perform the work
of supplying locomotives, including placing ice in locomotive drinking water coolers and placing rock salt on the cleaning foot boards.
2. That accordingly the Carrier be ordered to compensate
one roundhouse laborer eight (8) hours pay at straight time
rates for each of three (3) shifts, seven (7) days per week from
December 3, 1957, until the date the work is restored to the Firemen and Oiler craftsmen.
STATEMENT: The above question was submitted to the Second Division of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to
organization in ex parte form and the Division is now in receipt of a request
from the employes that the case be withdrawn.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
