THE BELT RAILWAY COMPANY OF CHICAGO
DISPUTE:
CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:
1. That employes of the Electrical Workers craft were unjustly damaged when the Belt Railway Company of Chicago permitted other than employes covered by the current agreement,
between System Federation No. 130 and the Belt Railway Company
of Chicago, to perform work on poles, anchors, anchor guys, messenger cables, telephone cables and various boxes and equipment used
on telephone lines.
2. That accordingly the Belt Railway Company of Chicago be
ordered to compensate the following Electricians and Helpers:
S. Kosowski A. Pearson F. Genis
S. Servin H. Polonis W. Campbell
J. Sabatino J. Zehner E. Schaack
H. Kahler J. Nicely K. Reynolds
F. Bartuska E. G. Klachak W. Cobb
W. Crews
for the number of man hours involved in performing the work at the
punitive rate of pay for the period of August 12 through September
30, 1957, to be divided among the above-named employes.
STATEMENT:
The above question was submitted to the Second Division
of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to organization in ex parte form and the Division is now in receipt of a request from the
employes that the case be withdrawn.
