GREAT NORTHERN RAILWAY COMPANY
DISPUTE: CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:
1. That the overhauling of diesel locomotive trucks properly
comes under the scope of the current agreement as Machinists' work.
2. That the Great Northern Railway Company violated this
agreement when they dispatched the trucks of Diesel Locomotives
Nos. 250-A, 900, 901, 902 and 903 to LaGrange, Illinois, for complete overhaul.
3. That the Great Northern Railway Company be directed to
cease this practice, and, secondly, to compensate Machinists David
Huberty and Robert Torbanson each in the amount of 40 hours' pay
at the rate of time and one-half.
STATEMENT: The above question was submitted to the Second Division
of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to organization in ex parte form and the Division is now in receipt of a request from the
employes that the case be withdrawn.
