GREAT NORTHERN RAILWAY COMPANY
DISPUTE: CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:
1. That the Carrier erred and the provisions of the current
agreement were violated when shop craft electricians were assigned
to install stop plates on the volume control of the communication
system in passenger cars at Mississippi Street Coach Yard, St. Paul,
Minnesota.
2. That accordingly, the Carrier be ordered to additionally
compensate J. J. Kinney, Telephone Inspector, for two hours pay per
day at the applicable rate of pay, seven days per week, beginning
February 16, 1958, and continuing until the violation is ended.
STATEMENT: The above question was submitted to the Second Division
of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to organization in ex parte form and the Division is now in receipt of a request from the
employes that the case be withdrawn.
