DISPUTE: CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:
1. That the Carrier improperly denied Telephone Maintainers
C. C. Browning and R. D. Babylon the right to work overtime in
seniority order at their assigned bulletined headquarters on July
19, 1958, July 20, 1958, August 9, 1958 and August 10, 1958.
2. That the Carrier be ordered to compensate the aforesaid
Telephone Maintainers for the hours as set forth at the applicable
rate of pay as follows:
C. C. Browning
Saturday, July 19, 1958 8 hours at pro rata rate
Sunday, July 20, 1958 8 hours at time and one-half
Saturday, Aug. 9, 1958 8 hours at pro rata rate
Sunday, Aug. 10, 1958 8 hours at time and one-half
R. D. Babylon
Saturday, July 19, 1958 8 hours at pro rata rate
Sunday, July 20, 1958 8 hours at time and one-half
Saturday, Aug. 9, 1958 8 hours at pro rata rate
Sunday, Aug. 10, 1958 8 hours at time and one-half
STATEMENT: The above question was submitted to the Second Division of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to
organization in ex parte form and the Division is now in receipt of a request
from the employes that the case be withdrawn.
