DISPUTE:
CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:
1. That under the current controlling Shop Crafts' Agreement,
the Employes of the Machinist Craft at Cleburne, Texas claim that
the provisions of Item (14 ), Appendix "B" of that Agreement was
improperly applied account the carrier assigning Electrician Helpers
W. R. Matthews and B. W. Stephens to operate overhead traveling
cranes in its Cleburne Shop during the periods June 9 to June 27,
1958, and July 7 to July 25, 1958.
2. That accordingly the carrier be ordered to pay Machinist
Helper G. R. Choate, Cleburne, thirty (30) days additional compensation at pro rata rate account improper application of the
aforementioned rule by the carrier.
STATEMENT: The above question was submitted to the Second Division of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to
organization in ex parte form and the Division is now in receipt of a request
from the employes asking that the case be withdrawn.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
