LOUISVILLE AND NASHVILLE RAILROAD COMPANY
DISPUTE: CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:
1. That under the current agreement, particularly Rules 30
and 55, the Carrier improperly contracted out Machinists' work, to
Electro Motive Division of General Motors Corporation in September
1958.
2. That accordingly the Carrier be ordered tc additionally
compensate its Machinists in the amount of 100 hours at straight
time rate, recipients to be determined as prescribed in the correspondence of the handling on the property.
STATEMENT: The above question was submitted to the Second Division of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to
organization in ex parte form and the Division is now in receipt of a request
from the employes that the case be withdrawn.

Claim dismissed.
