DISPUTE:
CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:
1. That the Carrier under the controlling agreement improperly assigned Division Car Foreman W. H. Vick to perform work of
inspecting air brakes on cars in trains Nos. 254, June 9th, Extra 169,
254, June 10th, 254, June 11th, and 168, June 12, 1958.
2. That the Carrier be ordered to compensate Carmen (Car
Inspectors) J. C. Wright, four (4) hours in addition to what he was
compensated June 9, 1958, J. C. Justice and G. T. Casey be compensated four (4) hours each in addition to what they were compensated June 10th, 1958, T. P. Cooke be compensated four (4)
hours in addition to what he was compensated June 11, 1958, and
Ray L. Essary be compensated four (4) hours in addition to what he
was compensated June 12, 1958.
STATEMENT: The above question was submitted to the Second Division of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to
organization in ex parte form and the Division is now in receipt of a request
from the employes that the case be withdrawn.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
