SYSTEM FEDERATION NO. 97, RAILWAY EMPLOYES'
DEPARTMENT, AFL-CIO (Carmen)
ATCHISON, TOPEKA & SANTA FE RAILWAY COMPANY
DISPUTE: CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:
1-That under the current agreement the Carrier improperly
assigned two (2) Maintenance of Way employes (Section Laborers),
to perform carmen's and carman painters' work on a companyowned truck on January 16, 17, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 1958.
2-Accordingly, the Carrier be ordered to additionally compensate Carmen T. R. Duncan, and M. L. Johnson each on the aforementioned dates, consisting of eight (8) hours each day, at their
applicable hourly rate of pay.
STATEMENT: The above question was submitted to the Second Division of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to
organization in ex parte form and the Division is now in receipt of a request
from the employes that the case be withdrawn.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
