PARTIES TO DISPUTE:
INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF MACHINISTS,
DISTRICT LODGE NO. 18, AFL-CIO
MILWAUKEE-KANSAS CITY SOUTHERN JOINT AGENCY
DISPUTE: CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:
1. That under the current agreement the Management of
Milwaukee-Kansas City Southern Joint Agency, at Kansas City, Mo.,
improperly assigned other than Machinist Helpers to the car brass
boring machine.
2. That, accordingly, the carrier be ordered to assign the work
of car brass boring machine to the Machinists' Craft where it properly belongs in accordance with Rule 43 of current agreement, and
compensate Mr. H. J. Magner, Machinist Helper, three hours and
twenty minutes per day at the rate of time and one-half rate each
day since assignment was made, which was on March 21, 1956.
STATEMENT: The above question was submitted to the Second Division of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to
organization in ex parte form, and the Division is now in receipt of a request
from the employes that the case be withdrawn.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
