DISPUTE:
CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:
1. That under the current agreement the Carrier improperly
assigned other than Machinists to operate a Car Brass Boring Machine at Tacoma, Washington.
2. That accordingly, the Carrier 1-a ordered to additionally
compensate Machinist James Durham, eight (8) hour, pay at time
and one-half rate for August 29, 30, 31 and September 1, 1955, and
each day thereafter until this work is assigned in accordance with
the current agreement.
STATEMENT: The above question was submitted to the Second Division of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to
organization in ex parte form, hearing thereon was held, and the Division is
now in receipt of a request from the employes that the case be withdrawn.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
