DISPUTE: CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:
(1) That under the current Agreement the Carrier improperly
assigned other than members of the Machinist Organization to operate Car Brass Boring Machine at Miles City, Montana.
(2) That accord;ngly the Carrier be ordered to additionally
compensate Machinist William Hagerty, eight (8) hours' pay at time
and one-half rate for September 1, 1955 day shift, ::nd eight (8)
hours' pay for September 1, 1955 second shift; eight (8) hours' pay
for September 2nd, 1955 first shift, and eight (8) hours' pay for
September 2nd, 1955 second shift, and for e'ght (8; hours' pay at
time and one-half rate each day and/or shift thereafrer that other
than members of the Machinist Craft are assigned to operate Car
Brass Boring Machine at Miles City, Montana.
STATEMENT: The above question was submitted to the Second Division of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to
organization in ex parte form, a hearing thereon was held, and the Division
is now in receipt of request from the employes that the case be withdrawn.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
