SYSTEM FEDERATION NO. 2, RAILWAY EMPLOYES'
DEPARTMENT, AFL-CIO (Machinists)
MISSOURI PACIFIC RAILROAD COMPANY
DISPUTE: CLAIM OF EMPLOYES:
1. That the Missouri Pacific Railroad Company violated the
current agreement and No Transfer of Work Understanding when
they assigned other than a machinist Iielper to perform machinist
helper's work on Friday, December 19, 1958, and all subsequent
dates thereafter.
2. That accordingly, Machinist Helper H. S. Miller (first
shift); Machinist Helper J. M. Rogers (second shift) ; and Machinist
Helper C. T. Gascich (third shift) all be compensated eight (8)
hours at time and one-half rate for violation occurring on their
respective shifts . Claim will be continuous for each twenty-four
(24) hours until claim is settled.
STATEMENT: The above question was submitted to the Second Division of the National Railroad Adjustment Board by the above referred to
organization in ex parte form, and the Division is now in receipt of a request
from the employes that the case be withdrawn.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
